We started MyEbike because Brisbane didn't have an e-bike shop you could trust on both ends: retail to commuters who needed honest advice, and rentals to delivery riders who needed a bike that could earn its keep. One storefront, two jobs, every bike tuned by a mechanic before it leaves the workshop.

What we do
Three things, no filler.
We don't sell helmets, lights and bikes you assemble yourself. We sell bikes we've ridden, tuned and stand behind — plus a rental fleet for riders who need one to earn on.
Rent-to-Own for riders
Brisbane-only. Built for Uber Eats and DoorDash riders who can't drop $2,400 upfront on a work bike. $69/week, servicing and swap bike included, you own the bike after 52 weeks.
Servicing & repairs
Any e-bike, any brand. We stock OEM parts for every bike we sell, and we know Bafang, Bosch, Shimano EP8 and Ananda motor systems inside out. Quote before we start, call before the number changes.
The founders
JP runs operations and the retail side of the business. Rode cross-country from Cairns to Brisbane on a knock-off e-bike in 2018, realised the category needed someone actually honest, opened the shop in 2019. Matt heads up the workshop and the rental fleet. Qualified bike mechanic, 12 years at Specialized and Giant dealers before going electric. You'll find us in the shop most weekdays.

Brands we trust
We sell a tight range of bikes from manufacturers with proper parts support in Australia. We drop brands that don't look after their customers.
Supporting riders
A big chunk of our revenue comes from gig economy delivery riders. Our Rent-to-Own plan is genuinely designed around the way they earn — no credit check, no bond, ABN optional.
Brisbane first, AU next
Shop and workshop are Fortitude Valley. Rental fleet is Brisbane-only. Retail ships AU-wide, pre-assembled by Brisbane mechanics.
