You can't properly test an e-bike in a 5-minute car park lap. So we don't ask you to. Ride your new bike for 30 days. If it's not the one, ship it back and we'll refund the purchase price in full, minus return freight.

How a return actually works.

Simple rules: ride it, keep it clean, take care of it. Returns are inspected on arrival — unridden bikes in original packaging get a full refund (minus freight). If a bike comes back with marks, scratches or use evidence, we'll quote any deduction or, for heavily-used returns, decline a change-of-mind refund. Final call rests with MyEbike.

Email brisbane@myebike.com.au within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a one-liner on why it's not working. We reply within one business day.

Step 2

Ship it back

Re-use the original packaging where possible. If you've chucked it, we can ship a replacement carton at cost. Return freight is your responsibility unless the return is due to our fault.

Step 3

Refund

When the bike arrives back at the workshop we inspect it (24hr turnaround). If it's in as-new condition with original packaging, we refund the full purchase price to your original payment method, minus return freight — usually on card within 3–5 business days. If the bike comes back with marks, scratches or use evidence, we'll quote any restoration deduction before processing. Heavily used returns may not qualify for a change-of-mind refund — final call rests with MyEbike.

What's not covered

Rentals are a separate weekly agreement and are not covered by this 30-day return, see the rental terms for cancellation (cancel any time after the 2-week minimum). Accessories and parts have a 30-day change-of-mind policy (unused, in original packaging). Customer pays return freight on all change-of-mind returns; defectives are at our cost. Brisbane customers can drop returns at our Fortitude Valley workshop instead of shipping back. Batteries don't carry a separate restriction, same rules apply.

What if I've ridden the bike a lot in 30 days? +

We look at the condition the bike comes back in, not the odometer. Unridden bikes in original packaging get a full refund. Bikes with marks, scratches or wear get assessed on arrival — we'll quote any restoration deduction before processing, and heavily-used bikes may not qualify for a change-of-mind refund. Final discretion rests with MyEbike.

Does the 30-day return apply to rentals? +

No. Rentals are a separate weekly agreement with their own cancellation terms (cancel any time after the 2-week minimum). See the Rentals page.

Who pays return freight? +

Unless the return is due to our fault (wrong bike sent, arrived damaged, warranty issue), the customer covers return freight. Expect $80–$180 depending on state. We can quote a cheaper freight option through our carrier.

Do accessories and spares have the same policy? +

Yes, 30-day change-of-mind return on accessories and parts, provided they're unused and in original packaging. Safety items (helmets, locks that have been used) are final-sale for hygiene and warranty reasons.
