Shipping policy
MyEbike ships e-bikes, accessories and parts to addresses anywhere in Australia. This policy covers how we ship, what it costs, how long it takes, and what to do if something arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all.
We don't ship internationally.
Rentals are not shipped. Our Rent-to-Own service is Brisbane-only and bikes are picked up from our Fortitude Valley workshop. If you are looking for rental terms, see the Rent-to-Own page.
Shipping rates
Three flat rates apply Australia-wide:
- Standard parcel (orders $0 to $299): $11. Used for accessories, parts, helmets, locks and small items.
- Standard freight (orders $300 to $1,499): $99. Used for larger items including most bikes priced below $1,500.
- Free shipping (orders $1,500 and over): $0. All bikes priced over $1,500 ship free anywhere in Australia.
Rates include GST.
Remote postcodes in WA, NT, far-north QLD, the APY Lands and parts of TAS may incur a small carrier surcharge quoted to you at checkout or by email before we dispatch. We will never silently add a fee after the order is placed. If a remote-area surcharge would apply, you can decline it and we'll refund in full.
How your bike is shipped
Every bike is mechanic-tuned and test-ridden at our Fortitude Valley workshop, then packed into a reinforced bike carton for transit. Front wheel, handlebars and pedals come off so the bike fits the carton safely, the same way every reputable bike retailer ships. Cork and foam protection is used on the frame, fork and contact points.
Reassembly takes about 10 minutes with the tools supplied in the carton. A printed guide is included.
Bikes are not flat-pack and they are not shipped "fully assembled" to your door for safety reasons. If you want a fully assembled handover, choose the Brisbane pickup option at checkout.
Processing time
We dispatch most orders within one business day of payment clearing. Custom builds, ex-rental bikes and bikes that need final tuning may take 2 to 3 business days to dispatch. You'll get a tracking email the moment the bike leaves us.
Transit times
Estimated delivery windows from dispatch (business days):
- QLD and northern NSW: 2 to 3 days.
- NSW, VIC, ACT, SA: 3 to 5 days.
- WA, NT, TAS: 5 to 7 days, longer for remote postcodes.
These are estimates from our freight partners, not guarantees. Couriers occasionally run late and we don't control the network. We do track every shipment and chase the carrier on your behalf if it stops moving.
Signature on delivery
Bikes and any order over $1,000 ship signature-on-delivery (SOD) by default. The courier will not leave the carton unattended. If you can't be home, you can either:
- Nominate a safe alternative address (work, neighbour, parcel pickup point) at checkout.
- Reschedule with the courier once they've attempted delivery.
- Authorise an unattended drop in writing (you take responsibility for theft or weather damage from that point).
For accessories and parts orders under $1,000, the courier will usually leave the parcel if it's safe to do so.
Pickup from Fortitude Valley
Brisbane customers can collect any bike, accessory or part for free from our workshop:

Choose "Pickup" at checkout. We'll text you when the bike is ready, usually same day for in-stock bikes and 2 to 3 days for builds that need final tuning. Pickup bikes are handed over fully assembled, dialled in and ready to ride.
Pickup hours match shop hours, Monday to Saturday.
Damaged or lost in transit
We insure every bike for the full transit, end to end. Damage or loss in transit is our problem to resolve, never yours.
If your bike arrives damaged:
- Refuse delivery if you can see damage before signing, or take photos within an hour of delivery if you've already signed.
- Email hello@myebike.com.au with the order number and photos.
- We will arrange replacement or repair at no cost to you, including return freight.
If your bike doesn't arrive within the estimated window and tracking has stalled for more than 3 business days, get in touch. We will chase the carrier and either locate the bike or treat it as lost and ship a replacement.
PO boxes and parcel lockers
Bikes are too large for PO boxes and parcel lockers. They ship to street addresses only, business or residential.
Small accessories and parts orders (under 5 kg) can ship to a PO box, but choose the residential delivery option if you want SOD coverage.
What's not covered
This policy covers retail sales shipped from myebike.com.au. It does not cover:
- Rental bikes (Brisbane pickup only, see Rent-to-Own).
- International shipments (not offered).
- Returns shipping, which is covered in the Refund and Returns Policy.
