Servicing FAQ.

Do you service bikes I didn't buy from MyEbike? +

Yes, for most common e-bike motor systems (Bafang, Bosch, Shimano EP8, Ananda, Yamaha). We don't service heavily customised or discontinued systems where parts aren't available — we'll tell you up front if that's the case.

How often should I service my e-bike? +

Commuters: Silver service every 6 months or 2,000 km, whichever comes first. Delivery riders: Silver every 3 months or 3,000 km, Gold once a year. Weekend riders: Bronze yearly, Silver every 2 years.

What counts as a repair vs a service? +

A service is scheduled preventative work at a fixed price. A repair is diagnosing and fixing a specific fault (broken spoke, motor error code, flat battery cell) at a per-hour rate. If we need to diagnose the fault before we can quote it, a $60 inspection fee applies — and is credited back to you if you approve the repair. See the repairs page for pricing.

Can you service my bike on the weekend? +

Yes, Saturdays 9am–4pm. Sunday is mostly rider pickups, but we take emergency repairs if you're mid-shift. Book ahead — weekend slots go fast. Call (07) 3161 7336 to lock in.

Do you offer pickup or drop-off? +

Yes — we'll pick up and drop off your bike for a flat $150 service fee within metro Brisbane. Outside metro Brisbane, drop-off at the Fortitude Valley shop is your best bet (free). Call (07) 3161 7336 to arrange a pickup.
