How a trade-in works.
No big deal. The only "lock-in" is you need to be swapping into a bike from our range to use the credit. Cash-out trade-ins are case-by-case.
In-shop inspection
Drop the bike in Fortitude Valley for a 30-minute assessment. We confirm frame, motor, battery health (with a proper capacity test), and finalise the trade value.
Credit at checkout
Accept the quote and the credit applies directly to your next bike in our showroom or on the site. No cheque, no bank transfer, no waiting. If you don't like the number, walk away.

Trade-in FAQ.
Do you take non-electric bikes on trade? +
No, e-bikes only. A regular bicycle's trade value is usually lower than the freight cost of shipping it, so it's not a service we can run profitably.
Can I trade in a broken bike? +
Yes, but the value drops. If the frame's sound and it's mostly electrical / battery, we can still quote. If the frame's cracked, we can offer scrap value — usually $100–$300 depending on condition.
What brands do you trade? +
All of them. We trade Specialized, Trek, Giant, Cube, Bafang kits, no-name Chinese imports, the works. Our floor price reflects resalability — mainstream brands get a higher quote than no-name builds.
Can I trade my MyEbike Rent-to-Own bike? +
Yes, if you've owned it (week 52+). RTO 'upgrade pathway' is a separate track for active renters — see the RTO page.
